Meet Dr. Sonia Simmonds, Founder, Simmonds Dental Center

Dr. Sonia Simmonds is a proud native of Nassau Bahamas and has been practicing in Orlando Florida for almost 20 years. She is a General and Cosmetic Dentist educated at Howard University College of Dentistry with Advanced Dental Training at Howard University Hospital, the Frank Spear Institute, the Engel Institute for Advanced Implant Training, and the Misch International Implant Institute. Dr. Simmonds is passionate about early detection of oral cancer, and believes it is important to see your dentist regularly for a screening.

Dr. Rolando Catral: Dr. Catral is our associate dentist. He attended the University of Florida for a degree in Psychology. In 2014 he graduated from the New York University College of Dentistry and continued his training at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. He prides himself on treating people with compassion, dignity, and respect and applies those values to his dentistry. He provides long-lasting dental treatments and prioritizes a quality patient-doctor relationship ensuring that his patients are educated and understanding of their oral health and dental care.
Memberships/Affiliations: Our doctors strive to stay on the cutting edge of advances in dentistry to bring patients exceptional dental treatment. They are members of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Central Florida Dental Association, Dental Society of Greater Orlando, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Simmonds is a faculty member for Spear Education, a member of The Pankey Institute, a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
