Samuel P. Martin, MD FACS is the Founder and Medical Director of Vascular Vein Centers whose mantra is “Healthy Legs, Healthy Life” and mission is to employ the latest medical advances in a compassionate and caring manner while educating patients. The scope of the practice includes medical treatment of venous insufficiency, bulging varicosities, deep vein thrombosis, vein issues of pregnancy lymphedema and venous ulcers.

 

The Practice: Vascular Vein Centers (VVC) celebrates 22 years of dedicated vein care with six offices in Central Florida. VVC has partnered with GE using the latest proven technology to treat vein issues in a minimally invasive fashion. VVC has extensive experience in the use of laser technology and ultrasound guided sclerotherapy to treat venous disease both medically and cosmetically. All physicians are Board Certified and have participated in training programs, teaching both physicians and
surgeons.

Professional Affiliations: Member of the American College of Phlebology (specialty of veins). Florida Vascular Society (Dr. Martin is a former president). Society for Vascular Surgery. Southern Association of Vascular Surgery. American Venous Forum. Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography which recognizes special qualifications to interpret venous and arterial ultrasound studies. Certified by the American Board of Wound Management which recognizes expertise in treating venous ulcers and other wounds.

Greatest Professional Achievement: Starting the first vein practice evaluating and treating venous, lymphatic, and arterial disease and becoming Central Florida’s only IAC Accredited Vein Center AND Vascular Testing Lab – demonstrating a commitment to quality patient care at the highest level in the field of venous and lymphatic therapy and management.
