Sarah Day*, DDS

Dr. Day is the owner of Sweetwater Dental Wellness, a private office located in Longwood. She is a General Dentist, with an emphasis on Cosmetic Dentistry and Invisalign. Dr. Day graduated from Northwestern University in Chicago, and has been practicing for 24 years. She has owned her practice since 2004. Her busy practice has 3 dental hygienists, and accepts new patients ages 10 and up.

About: Dr. Day enjoys being a General Dentist, as it allows her to focus on restorative work. She works closely with a network of dentists in all specialties. “If you need a root canal, gum surgery, dental implant, tooth extraction, or your child needs pediatric dentistry, I will get you to the right specialist. I have a network of doctors I have been working with for
many years. Then, my part of dentistry is the fun part, I’m the one that gets to make your teeth beautiful and functional, and I get to see my patients every 6 months to make sure they are continuing to function and enjoy their smile.”

Off Hours: She is an endurance athlete, and spends most of her free time swimming, biking, and running. She has competed in over 12 Ironman races (swim 2.4 miles, bike 112 miles, and run a 26.2 mile marathon). And yes, that’s all in one day! She is often seen on local race circuits, whether it’s a sprint triathlon or 5k, or the larger events like Ironman Florida or a Disney marathon. When asked how she manages to go such distances, she laughs and says “It actually helps me chill out. I know that sounds weird, but that’s just how I am wired.”

Recognition: She was recently featured in a segment on Cosmetic Dentistry on “American Health Front” on ABC. It is on her YouTube channel she recently started, Dr. Sarah, along with other videos about Dentistry and her adventures in triathlon. Check it out!
