This holiday season may look different, but we can still find ways to feel festive and be merry! Take a look at some of the wild concoctions from Orlando’s local restaurants, bars, pop-ups, and resorts.
Holiday Cocktails
Winter Warmer
- 1 ½ ounces vodka
- 1 ½ ounces grapefruit juice
- ½ ounce cinnamon simple syrup
- 1 tablespoon cranberry preserves
- 1 ounce Warre’s Warrior Port
- Cranberries (optional)
Peppermint Bark Martini
- 2 ounces vodka
- 2 ounces white chocolate liqueur
- ½ ounce peppermint schnapps
- White chocolate, melted
- Candy canes, crushed
Dip rim of martini glass in melted white chocolate and coat in crushed candy canes. Place glass in freezer. In a cocktail shaker with ice, add liquid ingredients and shake well. Strain into prepared martini glass.
Cherry Merry Spritz

- 2 ounces Cherry Merry Aperitivo
- 2 ounces Collalto Prosecco
- 2 ounces soda water
- Cherries
Combine ingredients in a wine glass over ice. Stir to combine and garnish with cherries or lemon twist.

Pecan Infused Bourbon, Spiced Molasses, Wormwood Bitters, and Orange Essence
Christmapolitan
Naughty or Spiced
Cinnamon Clove Brown Sugar Simple Syrup:
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- ½ teaspoon whole cinnamon cloves
Cocktail:
- Crushed graham crackers
- Brown sugar
- 3 ounces Chopin Vodka
- 1 tablespoon spiced pumpkin purée
- 1 ounce cinnamon clove brown sugar simple syrup
For Cinnamon Clove Brown Sugar Simple Syrup: Combine the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Reduce the heat to low and allow to gently simmer for 20 – 30 minutes. Remove the saucepan from the heat and allow to cool.
For Cocktail: Pour ¼ cup of the simple syrup onto a plate and run the rim of your glass in the syrup. Next, pour the graham cracker and brown sugar mix onto a plate and dip the rim of your glass into the cracker sugar mixture. Store the glass in the freezer to solidify the rim while you make the cocktail. Add vodka, spiced pumpkin purée and cinnamon clove brown sugar simple syrup into a martini shaker filled with ice. Shake well to mix. Strain into your prepped glass and serve.

Overproof Rum, Lime Juice, Nutmeg Syrup, Herbal Liqueur, and Angostura Bitters.
North Pole Punch
Bourbon, Overproof & Dark Jamaican Rums, Cremede Banana, Maple Syrup, Cinnamon Syrup, and Lime Juice.
Morimoto Asia
Winter Wonderland (served at Morimoto Asia located at Disney Springs)
Morimoto Asia’s decor and menu make it a worthwhile stop for the holiday season, but if you can’t make it out to Disney Springs, you can make your own Winter Wonderland at home.
- 1.50 Oz vodka
- .75 Oz peppermint schnapps
- .75 Oz white chocolate liqueur
- Mini candy cane and red sugar
Mix and chill ingredients. Pour into a red sugar-rimmed martini glass. Garnish with a candy cane hanging on the rim.
Margaritaville Resort Orlando
Head to Margaritaville Resort Orlando and enjoy their beautiful resort with a cocktail in hand! If you’re unable to make it out to the resort, check out these wonderful recipes you can make at home.
Naughty Candy Cane
- 1.50 Oz Stoli Vanilla vodka
- .50 Oz Dekupyer white mint liqueur
- 1.00 Oz Godiva White
- .25 Oz Sunken Grenadine
- Garnish and or Rim: syrup rim with crushed candy cane
Rim martini glass with crushed candy cane. Pour all ingredients into shaker over ice. Shake vigorously, pour contents into martini glass (neat). Sink grenadine to bottom of martini glass.
Mistletoe Old Fashioned
- 2.00 Oz of Woodford Reserve Rye
- 2 dashes of bitters
- Muddled cranberries and oranges
- Pinch of rosemary
Garnish and or Rim: two cranberries with a stem of rosemary in-between them (skewered). To emulate a mistletoe.
Pour all ingredients into shaker, (including rosemary). Muddle ingredients. Add ice and stir with bar spoon. Strain contents into snifter over whiskey cube. Add skewered cranberry and rosemary garnish. Served in a snifter glass.
Reindeer Punch
- 1.50 Oz Grey Goose
- .50 Oz Chambord
- .50 Oz Margaritaville Triple Sec
- 2.00 Oz Ocean Spray White Cranberry Juice
- Topped with Prosecco
Garnish and or Rim: Blue berries and Raspberries add AFTER drink is made.
Build: Add ingredients into shaker with ice, give a healthy shake. Strain contents into collins glass over fresh ice. Top with prosecco, add raspberries and blueberries.
The Robert Frost
- ¾ ounce Warre’s White Port
- ¾ ounce bourbon
- ¾ ounce dry Amontillado Sherry
- ½ ounce simple syrup
- 1 dash orange bitters
- Fresh orange
- Fresh lemon
Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Shake well and strain into a glass, garnish with an orange and lemon wheel.
Mistletoe Margaritas
- 2 cups tequila
- 1 cup triple sec
- 2 ½ cups cranberry juice
- 1 ¼ cups lime juice
- 1 cup simple syrup
- Sugar
- Fresh cranberries
Combine chilled liquid ingredients in a pitcher and stir. Coat rims of serving glasses in lime juice and dunk in sugar. Roll fresh cranberries in sugar and add to drink for garnish. Serves 10.
Smirnoff Peppermint Hot Chocolate
- 2 ounces Smirnoff Peppermint Twist
- 6 ounces hot chocolate
- Whipped cream
- 1 small peppermint candy cane
Pour Smirnoff Peppermint Twist into a mug of hot chocolate and stir to combine. Garnish with whipped cream and a peppermint candy cane or stick. Try adding cayenne pepper to your hot chocolate for a sweet and spicy twist!
Tito’s Snow Day Sipper
- 2 ounces Tito’s Handmade Vodka
- 4 ounces coffee
- 4 ounces hot chocolate
- Nutmeg
- Cinnamon stick
Add all ingredients to your favorite holiday mug. Stir and garnish with nutmeg and a cinnamon stick. Serve warm.
Pom-Tini
- 1 ½ ounces Grey Goose Vodka
- ¾ ounce Patron Citronge Orange
- 1 ½ ounces pomegranate juice
- Powdered sugar
- 1 sprig rosemary
Add all liquid ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake. Strain into a sugar-rimmed coupe glass and garnish with a sprig of rosemary.
Basil Hayden’s Winter Spiced Mule
- 2 ounces Basil Hayden’s Bourbon Whiskey
- ¾ ounce lime juice
- ½ ounce simple syrup
- ½ ounce strawberry jam ginger beer
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
- Rosemary sprig
Combine all liquid ingredients, except for ginger beer, in a cocktail shaker with ice and shake. Strain over ice into a rocks glass and top with ginger beer. Garnish with rosemary sprig.
Hornitos Tequila Sparkler
- 1 ounce Hornitos Plata Tequila
- ½ ounce lime juice
- ½ ounce simple syrup
- 4 ounces Champagne
Add Hornitos Plata Tequila, lime juice and simple syrup to an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake and strain into glass. Top with Champagne.
