Founder and CEO | Studio K and Wing Woman Public Relations

More than 20 years ago, Kristin Weissman relocated to Orlando from Philadelphia and never looked back. Serving in corporate PR and Marketing in top leadership roles for companies including: Harrah’s Entertainment, the Trump Taj Mahal, and the Miss America Organization, Kristin came to Orlando with strong experience and an excitement for the industry. She quickly fell in love with all that Orlando has to offer, and in the coming years, served again in Senior Leadership PR and Communications positions for Give Kids the World, and in the educational industry with both Full Sail University and Windermere Preparatory School. Kristin is also a published author and has worked with iconic brands and events including: the Tournament of Roses Parade, the GRAMMY Awards, NASCAR, UFC, the Sundance Film Festival and more.

However, Kristin’s greatest passion is her role as an entrepreneur. As the Founder and CEO of the dance and fitness studio, Studio K, and the newly rebranded PR firm, Wing Woman Public Relations, as well as other ventures including a cosmetics line, Kristin knows what it takes to build a brand from the ground up and how to handle the demanding life of entrepreneurship.

“As a business owner, as well as in my PR career, the core of all the work that I do centers around genuine human connection and kindness. To meaningfully connect with the customers I serve, or to truly believe in the corporation or individual I represent, is what drives me,” said Kristin.

Leading a Team of 25, Kristin created Studio K in 2010 and it is the original studio of its kind, offering the largest variety of dance and fitness classes for adults of all levels of ability than anywhere else in the nation. The studio has become known as the place where “pop culture meets dance and fitness,” bringing unique and custom classes created in-house that adults just won’t find anywhere else in a positive, supportive environment.

However, in addition to Studio K, by day you will find Kristin fiercely representing her PR clients, working for individuals and corporations in the industries of: health/wellness, music, technology, film, education, lifestyle, business and more. Her firm, Wing Woman PR, not only offers a rich history in the Orlando market, but a global presence working with a worldwide media network. In addition, through Kristin’s experience as a business owner, the firm also offers small business consulting services.

“As I always say, ‘I’m just getting started!’”, Kristin said. “I look forward to continuing to grow, to further expand my businesses, and to meet, reach and serve as many people as I can in our city, and in many more cities to come.”
