Newlyweds James and Vy Wehrly were destined to be together. “Our love story began in high school, and since then, we’ve grown to become each other’s best friend and life partner. We’re lucky to have found our soulmates in each other and are excited to continue building our lives together,” noted Vy.

Over the years, they’ve faced many challenges and celebrated numerous milestones together. During a vacation to Vietnam, James surprised Vy with a breathtaking proposal at a luxurious resort with a private dinner above the water in the city where she was born. They didn’t rush into marriage, opting to finish college and start their careers first. When the time finally came to plan their dream wedding, they knew the Four Seasons Resort Orlando was the perfect venue. The bride and groom wanted a modern yet romantic atmosphere that reflected their style. They were also excited to incorporate some Vietnamese cultural elements into the celebration, such as the lion dance and table greetings during the reception.

“Planning our wedding was exciting and stressful at the same time. We wanted everything to be perfect and, in the end, all the effort and hard work were worth it. Our wedding was a beautiful celebration of our love, and we were so grateful to be surrounded by our family and friends”, said Vy.
