What vitamins or supplements can I give my pets?

While additional vitamins are not required for our pets’ health if feeding a properly balanced diet, there are some supplements that can be utilized for cats and dogs as they grow and age. Joint supplements such as glucosamine and chondroitin are great for cartilage and ligament health; they are especially beneficial in pets with arthritis and other joint issues, but can be used in almost
any stage of an animal’s life. Fish oils/omega-3 fatty acids are excellent for maintaining skin and coat health, heart health, musculoskeletal health, and more. Any of these “extras” can be added into your pet’s daily feeding routine to help them live long, happy, and healthy lives.
