With “social distancing” in full effect, you might wonder how you’re supposed to visit your physician. In 2020, there are now many ways to see a doctor (albeit, maybe not your doctor). Here are a few options:

AdventHealth eCare

eCare providers will diagnose your urgent health problem and recommend treatment designed specifically for you. If you need a prescription, they will call it in to your pharmacy. And they’ll follow up to make sure you’re doing well — it’s all part of their comprehensive, seamless care. You can easily access eCare through the AdventHealth app. Please visit the Google Play or Apple App store to download. If you need help signing up, you can contact technical support at 480-493-4819.

Nemours CareConnect

Kids, newborns to age 18, can see a doctor through live video chat 365 days a year.

A live video visit is as low as $0, depending on your insurance.* Download the free app on your smart device or click to get started. This service is available 24/7 in Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Whether you’re an established Nemours patient or this is your first experience with Nemours, they are here for you.

Orlando Health Virtual Visit

Orlando Health Virtual Visit is an online virtual urgent care. It is designed to give patients access to physicians using their computer or mobile device from any location, 24-hours a day, 365 days a year. Allergies, asthma, bronchitis, colds & flu, conjunctivitis or “pink eye”, diarrhea, infections, insect bites, moles & warts, rashes, respiratory infections, sinusitis, sore throats, sprains, urinary tract infections, and vomiting. Orlando Health has contracted with Teladoc’s physician group to provide services. Teladoc is a global leader in virtual care. The group is comprised of 5,000 board certified physicians specializing in internal medicine, family medicine and pediatrics. And the average appointment wait time is 10 – 15 minutes.

Teledoc

Teladoc is a national network of U.S. board-certified physicians and pediatricians that lets you resolve your routine medical issues, on-demand 24/7, via phone or online video consultations from wherever you happen to be.

“As the COVID-19 outbreak unfolds, our commitment to providing high-quality care has never been more important. Virtual care is recommended by the CDC as the way to get care and help avoid exposure and spread of potentially contagious viruses. In these unpredictable times, our doctors are here for you 24/7, working tirelessly to assure that your questions are answered and your needs are resolved. We appreciate your patience during this time.” – Dr. Lewis Levy, Chief Medical Officer
